Ceyda Özbaşarel, got her bachelor’s degree from piano department, worked with Randy Esen and Donovon Mixon on jazz vocal, improvisation and sound between the years of 2005 and 2011. She participated in workshops of Aydın Esen, Sheila Jordan and Kevin Mahogany. The artist, performing in many places, participated in Nina Simone, Cole Porter and John Coltrane nights hosted by Caz Ağacı. Since 2013, she’s been performing with Başak Yavuz in “Bi’ Şarkım Var!” project. The group will perform original compositions as well as jazz standards and some alternate songs from a modern perspective.
