İpek Göztepe, started her music training at Istanbul University State Conservatory Piano Department. She took part in various Classical Turkish Music and Western Music choirs such as Istanbbul State Symphony Orchestra and Emin Ongan Üsküdar Music Society. At the age of sixteen, she started professionally performing different music genres derivated from jazz and blues, and in particularly soul. She’s worked with Güç Başar Gülle on theory and arrangements and with Randy Esen on jazz vocal. She qualified for going to Poland Pulawy Jazz Workshop at the 13th Nardis Young Jazz Vocal Competition in 2017. In the same year, she was one of the finalists at “Young Jazz” organized by IKSV and got qualified to perform at “Jazz in the Parks”, as a part of the 24th Istanbul Jazz Festival. She’s still performing in various jazz clubs in Turkey.
