Tuğba Doğan
Tuğba Doğan was born in 1997 in Istanbul. She started her music life when she was 15 by taking guitar lessons and she continued to take piano and classical singing lessons when she was 16. She joined the Bahçeşehir University Jazz Certificate Program when she was 17 where she got the chance to work with musicians like Başak Yavuz, Yeşim Pekiner, Baki Duyarlar, Şevket Akıncı and Güç Başar Gülle. She continued taking jazz vocal classes from Başak Yavuz and Yeşim Pekiner in 2014 and in 2015. And since 2016, she’s been taking singing lessons from Randy Esen. During her educational years, she took piano lessons from Baki Duyarlar for a year. After the certificate program, she got into The New School for Jazz and Contemporary and Royal Conservatorium but she couldn’t go due to the financial reasons. She came 3rd in Nardis Young Jazz Vocal Competition in 2015 and qualified for Pulawy Jazz Workshop. She got into Ankara Hacettepe State Conservatory Department of Jazz Vocal in 2015 and she is still a student there. She chose contrabass for her second instrument and now taking lessons from Burak Karaağaç.
