Song Dreaming – Ezgiyi Düşlerken [Please scroll down for English] Saadet ve Şevket öz dünyalarının derinliklerinde, değişik tınılar ile müzik diyalogu oluşturur. Bilinçaltı ve dünyevi idrak ile o ana ait kurgusal müzik besteleri düzenler; dinleyicilerin verdiği enerji ile bütünleşirler. Yeni Müzik, Avangart Caz ve Orta Asya tınılarını da hissedeceğiniz bir akşam sizleri bekliyor. Müzik zamanın ötesine geçen bir duygu ise tanımı zordur. İkili birlikte ilk çalışmalarını 2010 yılında Japon Kültür Vakfının bir projesiyle Garaj İstanbul’da gerçekleştirmiştir. Bu proje kapsamında bir dansçı ve iki müzisyenden oluşan Japon bir grup ile birlikte İzmir, Mısır, Macaristan ve Japonya’da performanslar gerçekleştirdiler. Saadet Türköz Türkiye’deki ilk konserini solo olarak İstanbul Bienali kapsamında 1999 yılında Aya İrini Kilisesi’nde vermiştir. Özgür Doğaçlamanın ses alanında Türkiye’de yayılmasına katkısı olan yegane sanatçılardan biridir. Eğitimini Boston’da ki Berklee College of Music’ten alan Şevket Akıncı, İstanbul caz ve deneysel müzik dünyasının vazgeçilmez simalarındandır. Ayrıca Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi Caz bölümünde öğretim görevlisidir. // Saadet and Şevket create a musical dialogue with various timbres at the depths of their essence. They organize fictional musical compositions belonging to that moment with a worldly cognition and subconscious; with the energy emanated from the listeners, they become a whole. You are invited to a night where you will also feel the sounds of New Music, Avant-garde Jazz and Central Asia. If music is a sensation that goes beyond time, it is difficult to define it. The duo first worked together in 2010 in a project of the Japan Cultural Foundation in Garaj Istanbul. They had performances in Izmir, Egypt, Hungary and Japan together with a Japanese group consisting of a dancer and two musicians. Saadet Türköz gave her first concert in Turkey as solo in 1999 within the context of the Istanbul Biennial at the Aya Irini Church. She is one of the only artists who contributed to spreading the Free Improvisation in the sound field in Turkey. Şevket Akıncı, who received his degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, is the one indispensable personas of Istanbul jazz and experimental music scene.
