Eylül Biçer
Born in 1987 in İstanbul, Eylül Biçer started playing music during his years in Kabatas High School. He finished Yıldız Technical University Music Ensembles Programme with a degree of “High Honored Student”. He teaches Jazz Guitar at Istanbul University State Conservatory.
He had the chance to study with Mümtaz Solmaz, Şevket Akıncı, Önder Focan, Kalle Kalima and Dave Allen. With his own bands and as a sideman, participated in Istanbul Jazz Festival, Akbank Jazz Festival, EUROPAFEST Bucharest, Berlin Fusion Festival, Juu Jaab Estonia. Alongside with regular performances in İstanbul and Turkey, he has concerts in countries such as Germany, Sweden, Bulgaria, Poland, Spain, Romania, Austria, Estonia and Lebanon.
As a sideman, he had the chance to take part in the albums of musicians like Tamer Temel, Volkan Topakoğlu, Çağıl Kaya, Timuçin Esen, Jehan Barbur. And he worked as a producer, arranger, composer in Ülkü Aybala Sunat’s debut album “Artiz Kahvesi”. He also continues his arranging career working with Ülkü Aybala Sunat, Jehan Barbur, Ezgi Aktan etc.
